Congress is going to pass a 20% downpayment requirement. . . really?
Congress has proposed a new "finanical reform" that would be part of the Dodd-Frank Act and mandate that a 20% down payment requirement for home buyers!  20% is a lot of money for most people and it seems to me that this would eliminate 85%+ of current home buyers - especially 1st time home buyers.
I have sold 50+ houses already this year and had a 20% downpayment on less than 5 of them.  What about you AR realtors (and lenders!). . . how do you think this will … (7 comments)

MOVE THAT BUS!  Extreme Makeover Home Edition
      After returning from the Colordo Springs the Keefer family anxiously awaits for the call to "MOVE THAT BUS!"  1,000's of people showed up to watch as the Keefer's return to see their beautiful new home for the first time.  It was very emotional.  The new home is gorgeous.  They built a separate home for Brian, one will allow him to function 100% independent even with his disability. 
This show will be the season premier - September 25th starting at 8PM.  It is a 2 hour show.

Animals in Real Estate Pictures - OH NO!                             
I love cats - I love dogs. . . I don't love them in real estate pictures.  How many times have you seen a cat on the bed or a dog standing in the middle of the floor of the family room?  I was hoping that as animal lovers you would agree with me that realtors should NEVER have an animal in a picture used in the multi-list or advertising.  There are people that do not like pets, are allergic to pets and seeing (even the most adorable pet) an animal instantly creates negative … (8 comments)

This is my husband and myself before we did the march to the house to let the Keefer family know they were getting a new home!  This is the bus that will be moved when they do the reveal this Sunday.  I wanted to be sure you all tuned into the show when it airs.  This show will launch the 9th season and will be a 2 hour special.  It will air - Spetember 27th on ABC.

Extreme Makeover Home Edition has begun!  
Yesterday it was announced that the Keefer family of Dubbers Drive in Newberry Township were going to receive an Extreme Home Makeover!  Brian Keefer is a quadirplegic living in a 2 story home that keeps him trapped on the first floor.  All that is about to change!

This is my first post - I am exhausted. . . looks at the hundreds of people in the background.  They believe there were over 2000 people in attendance.  It was so amazing and truly makes my heart proud that so many Central Pennsyvanian's are willing to share in this amazing build!
