Sometimes it is difficult to practice what you preach, but my wife showed me that she listens to me, when she was able to calm me down with my own advice. We live in a nice townhouse in the heart of Aventura, where the location is incredible, with great school districts. We have all heard about stiff penalties for not scrubbing our cold call lists for people registered on the "Do not call list", but what is really being done? I personally do not cold call, so I do not worry about it, but as a registered individual on the list, I find the number of unwelcome calls that I recieve unnerving! At first, I started reporting them. Well we really did a good job of messing up this time! During the housing boom, we were all having such a good time, why should we have cared or even thought about the consequences? Because everything has a price tag, as my dad always said, and nobody was asking what this housing boom could cost us. Well, look back at what was going on! Banks were lending money to unqualified buyers, with little or no documentation.
