So, you've been convinced that you need to be on Twitter, because that's where people you want to attract are at and it's a great way to continue to brand yourself online.
Now it's time to get our feet wet!
Setting up your Twitter Account - It's as Easy as 1-2-3
Go to http://twitter.com/. Click the big yellow square on the right hand side that says "Sign Up"
You'll be directed to a new page to fill out your information. Everything is pretty self-explanatory, except creating your username.

twitter: I know you don't want to, but why you should be on Twitter

Yesterday we marked our 200,000th member here at ActiveRain and I got the honor to throw a pretty dang cool party on Twitter. With more than 1,200 tweets from AR members, we celebrated with eachother and gave away prizes.
One of the coolest parts of the day (although there were many cool moments) was seeing so many members that created a Twitter account that very day and starting to really like using Twitter. They learned by doing and jumped right in, and did fabulous at it!
