KUAU BAYVIEW - PAIA MAUI HI 96779
If you're familiar with the north shore of Maui then you probably already know about this neighborhood, Kuau Bayview.  It was developed in the 1990's on the mauka side of Hana Highway, and the first homes were sold in the summer of 1996 for about $200,000 - $250,000.  The development was done by A&B Hawaii.  It consists of about 90 single family homes in Phase I.  We don't know when phase II will happen, but it will extend this subdivision further mauka.

If you come to Maui and drive east from the airport, along the Hana Highway, you'll come to the small oceanfronttown of Paia.  It's all historic!  Paia Maui was once a thriving sugar plantation town in the 1800's with a sugar mill, hospital, train station, worker housing and commercial district.  Paia was actually 2 towns back then... This map shows the location of Paia town on the north shore of Maui Hawaii.  The Kahului airport is to the west, about 7 or 8 miles away.  The town of Hana is to the east, about 50 long miles away along the winding Hana Highway.  That's Haiku town on the right side of the map.
