Poor Alice in Hulaland is getting the squeeze. Paia Maui update. If you've been to Paia Maui you probably noticed the cute store on Baldwin Avenue, called Alice in Hulaland. It's been a fixture in this beach town for many years, and one of the best boutiques for some really unique clothes and accessories. Lots of celebrities like to come here to shop. Well move over Alice because there's a new building preparing to put the squeeze on you! I don't know what it's going to be, but it will be big, taking up most of the vacant lot next door. Paia Maui HI 96779 - pics of some little shops in this beach town Lately I am loving my iPhone app called Iris Photo Suite which has a great cartoon filter which renders buildings like this! Sometimes I get a little carried away with tweaking the colors too because it's just plain fun. Paia is not a very big town, so I have to make the most of what I can get.
