If you live in Haiku Maui, you've noticed the construction of new sidewalks this summer, and now into fall. It's been slowing down traffic on Pauwela Road, just above the Haiku Elementary School and up to the intersection with Haiku Road. Brand new sidewalks are going in, making it easier to walk to school if you live in town.
With all the new lots being sold at Haiku Town Center, and also at Kauhikoa Farms, more families will be building homes and living near the school and walking to school. This upgrade has been a long time coming, since the old … (2 comments)

Keala O Wailea sales update and pictures of construction This brand new Wailea condo project by Armstrong Development is moving along nicely and they expect the first apartments to be ready by December of this year, a little later than originally planned when I first wrote about Keala O Wailea. This brand new house and pool is under construction in Haiku Maui, at 40 Hale Pili Way. It's going to be a huge estate with lovely ocean and mountain views. Hale Pili Way is part of a small subdivision off North Holokai Rd, in Peahi. Fresh new look for Paia Maui Hawaii - Dec 2015 Just some random photos from the little beach town of Paia, on the north shore of Maui. There has been a lot of new construction of commercial buildings, and a general sprucing up of some of the older shops. Here's a little update. This new building is in behind Charley's Restaurant, in the parking lot. Still not sure who the new tenants will be. The F. Garcia Building is getting a whole new look and total make-over. Poor Alice in Hulaland is getting the squeeze. Paia Maui update. If you've been to Paia Maui you probably noticed the cute store on Baldwin Avenue, called Alice in Hulaland. It's been a fixture in this beach town for many years, and one of the best boutiques for some really unique clothes and accessories. Lots of celebrities like to come here to shop.
