2010 URBAN BUS TOUR WCR-Metro STL's May 19th 2010 Urban Bus Tour proved to be a fantastic evening of touring beautiful urban settings, wine and food, and discovering the lifestyle, history and redevelopment of some of St. Louis' most historic urban neighborhoods. Recently, I read another blog post that asked the question "How do I expand my sphere of influence?" The simple answer is by networking. When it comes to networking, you need both a web strategy and a real world strategy. Last Summer, I had the opportunity to play golf with ActiveRainer Don Rogers and WCR-Metro STL Member Michelle Silies. It was a scramble golf event to raise money for the O'Fallon Tomahawks, a local youth sports organization. It was a great event organized by Bob Craddick, general counsel with Reliant Care Management, and held at the Tamarack Golf Club in O'Fallon, Illinois. So, we loaded up the carts and hit the links. The 2010 WCR-Metro STL Mardi Gras Happy Hour & Karaoke Networking Event at Big Daddy's in Soulard was a SOLD OUT event. MEGA NETWORKING EVENT The MEGA Networking Event jointly sponsored by the Metropolitan St. Louis Chapter of the Women's Council of REALTORS® and Home Builders Association for St. Louis and Eastern Missouri offered great networking opportunities. This Business Resource Meeting started with an ice-breaker networking session.
