They're Back! FHA Repairs - 07/29/10 11:05 PM
Ok I know there has always been the chance that you could get hit with repairs when you have an FHA appraisal done. But they have been extremely lenient in the past um I don't know, 4 - 5 years I would guess. I'm not complaining, griping or bitching! Just letting buyers, sellers and agents know, because I was shocked to hear there were Conditions to the Appraisal this morning on one of my deals.

Thought I'd share this with all my readers! A little peak into the Hollywood market. Marilyn Monroe's old house is up on the market, listed at $3.6 Million.

Via The LA Times I discovered that the Brentwood home where Marilyn Monroe passed away has been listed For Sale at $3.6 Million.
The property last sold for $925,000 in 1996 and had previously changed hands in 1986 for $850,000.

I'm still amazed at the price buyers are able to get a St. Clair Shores canal or lakefront home for! With interest rates at record lows, that makes it a great time to purchase a St. Clair Shores waterfront home!

Here is a quick overview of the St. Clair Shores real estate market as of July 8, 2010
The St. Clair Shores market has a 6 month supply of inventory (homes) on the market. This would be considered a neutral or average market. I would say buyers still have somewhat of an advantage however.
