Where is your MIND with regard to Social Media - you better make it RIGHT! - 01/24/10 02:16 PM
Befriending us on Facebook - is this really necessary?
From a marketing perspective it sure is. IN fact if you are not emblazoning some type of emblem that is click-able that reroutes your viewer to your Twitter and Facebook Pages, you are doing yourself and your business a HUGE disservice.
So here is the Plan - go to all of your pages, sites, blogs, etc and start with the adding of the Icon's that have folks rerouting to your Facebook and Twitter Pages.

From the most recent foreclosure inventory, I am judging that we are in store for more Foreclosures to be released in the Southern California Real Estate Market.
This is a two fold test, who are the agents and what are their foreclosure listings track records?  Title searches reveal what banks are doing the releasing.
There is a third step that involves either elevator rides, speaking with the agents due to a personal bond, and even the coffee machine.

You don't have to video yourself - you can video your computer screen.  There are a lot of FREE resources out there in the world - such as ScreenToaster.com
REMEMBER - Not everyone is as pretty as Connor (me)- But although the camera adds about 10 pounds (in my case it seems like 110), you should not be shy.
It is important to add video to your arsenal.  As soon as you get your mind wrapped around these helpful HINTS - which by the way is the BENEFIT of you reading this Post, then you can start doing some damage.

Even as a Police Officer in Los Angeles, I was still a Hugger.  I hugged almost everyone - some "harder" than others.  But the love was there just the same.  A number of years ago, I compared law enforcement with Real Estate.  I'll never forget because Lynn voiced her opinion and did not think they had anything in common.  I was a bit taken back.  Reflecting on the past 12 years and while maintaining my Status as a LAPD Reserve, I now agree.  They are nothing alike.

It's Starting to Feel like Running again... - 01/15/10 05:58 PM
When you have been without running for a while - you cannot wait to start again.  The same holds true to the real estate market.  With all of the work, extra hours, and even more dedication than a "monk", I still felt as if I had been running in place.
We are not "hurting" which we can thank God for.  But it is five times the work for the same return.  The volume is much higher now, but we have adjusted.

Santa Clarita Short Sale Experts - they are also known as Pre-Foreclosures - 01/11/10 01:00 PM
If a Short Sale is not agreed upon by the Bank - then it will become a Foreclosure.  The Pre-Foreclosures are previewed in the Local MLS's being posted as Short Sales.

There is a lot happening in this "constrictive" real estate market.  What better way than to vent your feelings on the world wide web.  AR has been a fantastic resource and could be used as your only blogging system to keep your peeps updated with everything new in Real Estate.
But if you are going to venture outside of the AR world and get a side blog where you can have both interact with hyperlinks and anchors, you might see some impressive "Google" results.

Dry skin is not a laughing manner.  In fact, it can be downright painful.  But to survive in this market I find that a Good lotion is something that I will never take for granted again.
While at Davis LAPD academy, going through an instructors orientation last evening for the Shooting Training day I am instructing at this Saturday, I was looking at my hands.

There are very few times in life that you can take something back.  Usually after the deed is done - it is too late and the recipients for the intended message to act because they are already infected and irritated.

RSS - Stands for Really Simple syndication.  It is like specific parts of Newspaper you subscribe to. 
Breaking it down:  You hand me all of the newspapers in the world, a pair of scissors and bottle of glue and I get to work.  The task you have given me?  To sort out all of the news and events that are related to Real Estate.
