new home construction: Many Complaints Ignored by New Home Buyers

ABC Action News and its dozens of affiliates have uncovered quality complaints about big homebuilders in various parts of Florida. For instance, homeowners in Carriage Pointe in the Gibsonton Community recently sued Lennar Homes, claiming stucco was not installed according to Florida Building Code. Josh Burnett, a Tampa attorney whose firm has filed hundreds of lawsuits against national homebuilders, says the quality issues generally involve larger builders, particularly during the 2004-2008 timeframe when homes were built very quickly.
