Sacramento Property Management, Serving Natomas, Sacramento, Elk Grove, Land Park, Greenhaven/Pocket, Roseville, Rancho Cordova, North Natomas, Downtown and Midtown Interestingly the market is changing and rents are increaseing overall. I have noticed an overall increase of +10% in rental rates over the last couple months. Whether it is on comparible rental homes or a home from our current inventory that is coming up for rental, properties are moving and rental rates are climbing. I contribute some of the change to the inventory levels that are down from years prior. Not sure why the slow down but I have less tenants moving to buy … (1 comments)

The City of Elk Grove has changes their procedure when it comes to garbage service and billing. Effective July 2010 occupants of rental properties need to create a service account by showing ID and paying a $100 deposit. This would especially be of interest if you have a tenant responsible for utility charges. Failure to create the required account and/or keep your billing current will cause your service to be terminated which immediately causes a legal action by the city. April 2010 the City of Elk Grove adopted a new ordinance requiring all rental properties to be registered with the city. Rental registry consists of submitting the registration form and paying a one time$10.00 processing fee. Failing to do so will prompt Elk Grove Code Enforcement to follow up. Now with REO's hitting the rental market, are we heading towards further decline in the rental market? Recently it appears the market is pooling with rental properties.
