bpo: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET A REO LISTING ?????????

I'VE BEEN DOING A LOT OF BPO'S FOR A FEW MAJOR ASSET MANAGERS. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO START GETTING THE REO LISTING ? I SEE SOME PROPERTIES COME ON THE MARKET WITH ANOTHER AGENT OR SOME THAT ALREADY ARE ASSIGNED WITH ANOTHER AGENT BUT THEY DON'T HAVE A VALUE YET SO THAT IT WHERE I COME IN WITH MY BPO ? I HAVE SEEN THOSE GO ON THE MARKET AT EXACTLY THE VALUE I SUBMITED. SOMETIMES I SEE THE SAME AGENT LISTING IN A VERY WIDE AREA .... OVER 40 MILES AWAY. DOES ANYONE HAVE AN EXPERIENCE TO SHARE ?

I am writing the post as a result to some questions posted by another fellow agent in Scottsdale. He wrote something along these lines : banks sell homes sometimes at values so low that are "downright stupid" and he was wondering if some of the agents that do the BPO's might just not know the area well enough to perform a proper BPO/ Well if you are an agent from Glendale and you have only worked in Glendale for the past 2 years of your entire RE career than you should not attempt to do a BPO in North Scottsdale ! … (14 comments)
Educating Buyers and Sellers on Current Real Estate Market Trends. This is a perfect time to sell if you've been holding for a while. Success in real estate is knowing when to buy and when to sell. Having an agent with experience will make the process much easier.
