I checked out a restaurant over the weekend - Haven. Located in the Kirby-59 area, this lovely restaurant offers a Saturday brunch menu from 12 to 3 with a Farmers "After Market" in the parking lot from 1 to 3. Upon arrival, we were given a choice of dining inside or out on the patio. We chose the patio since the window for dining outside in Houston Texas is a small one! This is a Houston restaurant review. I'd heard a lot about this establishment, The Breakfast Klub, and had even attempted to go for breakfast one day. We had the pleasure of attending a seminar today at the City Centre in Houston. I read an interesting article in Sunday's Houston Chronicle. The headline read "Houston ‘top of the list in home building' in the country." The story went on to talk about the slump in the rest of the country compared to the evenness of the Houston market. They touted the reasons for the better outlook in Houston in part due to oil companies consolidating operations here and moving employees in to man those operations.
