Bianchi's Restaurant Is Open in Marana! I've never attended a grand opening at a restaurant before, but my husband and I enjoy Bianchi's at their Speedway location, and this was going to be much closer. We took off to get there by 5. There were about six cars in the parking lot. This was about 5:20 - notice the line to order? Notice the tables? The other room, a large bar area, was full up when we left around six, as well as what looks like a "party" room. Yep...looked like a successful opening to me. Oh...and the food? Horseshoe Barbecue Diner in Marana, AZ I was out showing a cute little property late last week and brought my husband along (I always bring him to a vacant listing in the evening) so that we could check out a little restaurant nearby that recently opened. Horseshoe Barbecue Diner is located just south of the intersection of Picture Rocks and Sandario...about 5 minutes from Marana High School.

Places to Eat In and Around Marana, AZ A few new restaurants have opened up in Marana, AZ in the last little while and my husband and I have done a bit of "menu exploring" to discover whether our finds have "made the list" we keep in our heads for places we'll visit again. I don't like focusing on negativity, and so this short blog won't be long in detail, but here's a little bit about three local restaurants in and around Marana, AZ.

This sounds fun -- today, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., a new business is having a party in nearby Marana, AZ. Open to the public, come welcome "The Station" to the community at Wade and Silverbell Road in Continental Ranch! There will be a ribbon cutting ceremonies for several businesses opening on that intersection including Anytime Fitness and Fowler Chiropractic! A "Country" Find in Rural Marana - The Sky Rider Cafe Yesterday my daughter and I got up early to get a bike ride in before the temps rose too high. Our destination was the nearby Marana Airport, 5.8 miles away. They have a little restaurant there called the Sky Rider Cafe. (Every bike trip is better with a place to go TO!)
The airport is one of those little municipal ones with the Cesnas and locally owned 2 and 3 seaters taking off. We did have some jets practice out of there once, and the Blimp always "bunks" there … (4 comments)
Most every time I make it back to Green Bay, WI to visit family and friends, our visit includes a trip to Culver's, a midwest restaurant chain, that has a location just east of Green Bay, WI. News is, Arizona will have two Tucson area locations opening up soon! They are expected to open next month and have locations at 40 S. Broadway Place, on the corner of Broadway and Prudence, and 6905 Thornydale Road, near Costco in Marana.
