I've been living in Gladden Farms, Marana, AZ for four years now, and I've watched the prices skyrocket, and then watched them plummet with distressed sales, too many homes on the market, and loss of local businesses due to the recession.
With spring, new construction has been blossoming and the area has started to experience a rise in home values, optimism for a Fry's Superstore, Walgreens, and other such businesses that have been rumored since this master-planned community's inception.

Prices Going up for Tucson Real Estate??

Tucson Area Realtors Multiple Listing Statistics were posted this week and I have to say they are optimistic for home sellers!There were more units sold this April, up almost 5% from March.The Selling price is up as well, hurray for sellers, an average of 6.35% up from March of 2011.  Listing price is up too, about 6.32% from last month.And overall, the median sales price has gone from $125,000 in March, to $132,000 in April.This is great news for sellers who have seen the prices plummet throughout Tucson and the metropolitan areas of … (3 comments)
