We have a reputable, production builder in our area and he has adjusted prices up and down over the past years to stay with the market. Buyers were quite upset at him when he had tremendous price increases in 2005...they seemed unjustifiable and "he was taking advantage of people". Now he is in a different market and sellers are upset because he has dropped prices dramatically to keep inventory selling. We had a few thunder clouds come through the other day and I wanted to share a bit of the beauty that still exists during a storm! The storm didn't get too far out of control; followed by a little bit of sunshine coming through the clouds. This is Lake Lowell in south-west Nampa, Idaho...Lots of recreation: Fishing, boating, swimming, Submarine Races. Just check out www.googlefight.com and type in anything vs. anything & it will show you the number of associated items on the WWW for each. For instance: Ford vs. Chevrolet, or REMAX vs. Coldwell Banker. It's more or less a popularity contest, but it's kind of fun when you type in things like "my dad vs. your dad". A couple of years ago, I came home after a nice snow fall & observed my teenage boys jumping off our back deck from our master suite upstairs. At first I had to repremend them & the next thing you know, I was jumping off with them...into this TINY little pile of snow. Since I was the camera man, I didn't get any shots of my feable jumping, but here are my boys. Some landings were safe, others looked bad, but no broken bones... I recently bought a new laptop computer because my graphics card was failing on my old machine. Not knowing then what I know now, I purchased a 64-bit processor AND a 64-bit operating system with Windows Vista. When I tried loading the latest version of ACT! Database & contact manager software, it didn't work. After being on the phone to India several times, I found out that ACT! will not run on a 64-bit operating system. I considered changing software or just using Outlook or something, but I was so used to ACT! 2006 and I wanted to keep it simple.. So … (3 comments)

So, i send out 1,000 over-sized postcards every month to my sphere of influence, past clients, prospective clients, etc... When it comes to Christmas time, I increase the number of mailings to include almost everyone in my database. This year I mailed 1241 Christmas cards, each hand-signed by me and I also took the effort to make sure each card said "Merry Christmas" either on the outside or hand written on the inside. I have been working diligently on strategic methods to have my web site placed at the top of Google for the search term: Idaho Real Estate. I've been working on Boise Real Estate as my next target. Today, my site crashed with a server overload. Apparently there are bad web crawlers that somewhat "spam" your site, searching for e-mail addresses & information, for whatever reason & they have flooded my site with empty inquiries.
