I have been waiting all week to post this and I really don't now why I got so excited. No this is not an educational class for Loan Modifications, it is the number of LMs I have done since September 12, 2008. I feel like I have saved the world (actually for over 100 families they think that too). I have been obsessed with these every since I had a family member almost lose his home due to greed, government voodoo and his lack of aggressiveness. So yes it is a milestone for me and just as exciting as selling over 200 homes but much more rewarding. It has been a hard learning curve with a lot of tears.
I feel like I have been a marraige counseler, a educator, a economic guru, telephone something or other since I spend 6 to 11 hours a day on the phone but anything but a Real Estate Broker.
I will be doing 20 to 50 files a month for what they expect to be 2 to 3 years if I can last. I have hired two of the best people to work along side of me.
Oh I almost forgot the success rate started at 10 % in September but since November it has been 95% and we hit a 100% for March. I think that will continue now that all the bugs have been worked out and we can pick the ones right off that will go through and list the rest as short sales.
