After weeks of Government take overs of the banking industry and as late as this week the Federalist has fired the CEO of General Motors.
Congress has decided that the Governors of California and Florida have poorly run their respective states. The President and Congress today decided it was in the best interest of the New Federalist government to immediately seize all assets and to relieve Governor Schwarzenegger and Governor Crist of their powers.
They put Al Gore over the State of Florida and Bill Clinton over the State of California, both agreed to run these states at $1 a year to fall in line with the pay scale of the CEO of AIG and General Motors. When ask why anyone would work for a $1 they smiled and said the perks were all you could take off the top.
Congress held a press conference and said more Governors would be expected to resign or be replaced in the near future so that the bailout funds can be used for Acorn to realign districts for upcoming elections and create more minimum wage jobs.
Congress also announce that if you were freeloading off the government trough that you could expect a inflationary raise of 20% to overcome the personal burdens and sins of the past President. As long as they aloud their selves to be cloned and made themselves available for embryonic stem cell research because we could use a few more freeloaders.
