I have been watching the news the last couple nights, and I have to say, I’m worried about our kids today. What are we teaching these kids? I remember when my spring break would involve going to downtown Portland for the day and buying records with my friends or driving to the Oregon coast for the day.

But, today, I have to wonder how far these spring break kids are going with the getting drunk thing. The news is reporting that people are coming down with the swine flu at an amazing rate.

Answer me this, since I’ve never drank… How drunk do you have to be
A) to kiss a Pig and
B) to kiss a pig with a runny nose?

Just asking.

Todd:  Both Sarah Palin and I want to know something.  Are these kids putting lipstick on these pigs before they kiss them ?  Perhaps if they could get ahold of some sort of lipstick that has a Neosporin gloss on it, or some other sort of antibacterial coating... maybe that would solve the problem.  I don't know... it's just a thought.  :)

Todd,

These are questions to ponder! Would you kiss a pig and one with a running nose? Not!!

I'm not a drinker at all but little pigs are so cute. A friend of mine has one that's like her baby and she sleeps with it every night. So Ill kiss a pig straight sober!

Yes, it is funny... But, the topic itself really isn't.  Too many high school and college kids drink, and drink a lot!

Todd, If I remember any of my college experiences, they never appear to be of the swine persuasion at night when fueled by alcohol it's the next day the true species of the company is revealed.

did both A) and B) in high school.... wouldn't take much alcohol (or chocolate) to revive those memories.

Todd, This is why so many people are home schooling like you and your wife. Some things are not to be tested...

Todd - thank you for the laugh this morning!  That was quite funny.  Now I can't get the image of someone kissing a snotty snout out of my mind.

Extremely funny, Todd ---- you hit the nail on the head --- too many of our teenagers are getting drunk and kissing the wrong people -----there are pigs and then there are pigs.

Kissing a pig with a runny nose? You are a deep thinker there Todd. The drinking thing has gone down into the high school ranks not just college. Not good to see that.

Hi Todd, All the good one liners are taken but on another note... today I went to WalMart to buy masks and antibacterial stuff for hands and they were all sold out... we have had a few cases of swine flu here.
