The "C" Student and Business Success?
Hello all! Is there a correlation between a student throughout his/her school years that receives "average grades" and success in running his/her own Business? I heard that there were studies done that proved that individuals that were classified as "C" students throughout their school years (K-12) had a better shot at running their own business, and more successfully then a straight "A" student. The reasoning behind this was because the "C" student was not a conformist in a sense. The "C" student was not readily accepting of the whole structure of a standard classroom setting. Therefore that student may have difficulties in an employee 9-5 job where everything is structured and income was fixed, and not determined by how hard you worked. The student thefore has a better shot (if ambitious enough) at being a successful owner of a business. There is an interesting book out called The Millionaire Mind by Thomas J. Stanley, which discusses this topic further. I want to know about some of your opinions about this, and if there are any "C" students who want to share their personal successes as well. Thank you.
