The Waukeha County Real estate market sure has grown over the years. As a kid I remember riding past Crites field and looking at the airport; at that time it had to exist of a number of Cessnas and a few Piper Cubs. If my memory doesn't fail me it had a big wind sock on top of a brick oval terminal that was the hanger. A few adjacent hangers would accompany their main hanger and looking across the field one could always see the The Waukesha County Fair grounds. As I drove past the Waukesha County Airport/ Crites Field the other day I was amazed at the amazing growth that has taken place in the last number of years. Large corporate jets have multiple hangers, large runways added to accommodate larger planes, and the Waukesha County Airport has grown into a magnificent airport that caters to the many needs of aviation Waukesha County Airport/ Crites Field .
