If you look at this question as a real estate agent, the answer might relate to a full price contract on the albatross listing, with the unreasonable sellers or a few new calls or emails from new buyers with perfect credit and a small bank account.
As people with families, and an appreciation for recreation and a quality of life for ourselves, the ideal day could be any number of things.
It could have been that day on the TPC Highlands in Cromwell when every shot I took was right on, culminating with perfect par on the final four holes, all around the lake. Made me think I should try for the Pro-Am when the PGA tour came to the state.
For me, any one of the ideal days could be with or without the entire family, but not a one without my wife/partner/best friend. One day in particular that does stand out was one of our anniversary's vacations spent on the Island of Aruba. A perfect morning, the sightseeing, the flavor of the island, so peaceful with the perpetual Caribbean breeze, ending with dinner at a restaurant with tables right on the beach, with the music behind us, and the sun set before us.
We all need to take the time to smell the roses, because there's no question we get more than our share of manure.
