Love sports? Depending on the season, you can go watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for football, Tampa Bay Rays for baseball, Tampa Bay Lightning for hockey and Tampa Bay Storm for Arena football. And if that's not enough, you can see the New York Yankees baseball team during spring training. This is an unbelievable combination of sports teams and all within 30 minutes of Brandon Florida.
Love the water? Whether you are a boater, enjoy a quiet walk along the beach, or want to canoe down the Alafia River, Brandon and the Tampa Bay area has many water related activities. If you live in Brandon, the Alafia River has many access points close by. If you want to go to the beach, your options are Clearwater, St. Pete, or even Sarasota/Bradenton. All of these are within an hours drive.
