Could be a cool option. I saw a documentary about a couple that lived on a barge. Looked like the one on the top right. Anyway, they had a full garden on the boat that they ate from.

I once knew a guy in S.F. who lived on a house boat! I have to admit, it was really weird when there were big storms.... you had to hold on to everything!

LaneI'm not sure if I could live here permanently, but a weekend place might work.

Joan The storms I would not like. Lightening and water don't mix. If you have ever been on a boat in a Storm is scary.

Kevin I think the 2nd one on the top w/ the curved roof and arched window would be my preference.
