I've been exploring other ways to bring in business and one of the ones that seems interesting is the consulting on how to help vets get their aid and attendance benefits. I know that its mostly financial planners doing this consulting but I think that reverse mortgage specialists could do it as well. I'm curious to see some stories as to how exactly you are doing this and how much business it's bringing.
Carlos, don't get in to advising veterans without a thorough understanding of the commitment you would be making to them. We have been advising families in need of care about the Aid and Attendance for the past five years. Filling out the application is the easy part. The questions will not end there. The application process can drag on for more than a year with numerous correspondences back and forth with the VA. Then each year, the VA will ask benefit recipients to fill out an eligibility verification report. This is a lifetime commitment to veterans.
Any questions, please feel free to email me emily@veteransfinancial.com or visit our website to learn more www.veteransfinancial.com. We also work with professionals like yourself all over the country.
I hope this helps.
