Do What We Do

Why do we do what we do, when we know what we know?

Think about it, I'm sure most of you reading this know what it is that you should be doing every day to create the business that you want, but you don't do it. Why is that?

The reason is simple, it's accountability. Yes if your not accountable, it's easy to take a day off, than two days, and so on.

If your reading this and you want to bring change into your life I have something for you: Today, find two or three people that will hold you accountable and tell them what it is that you want to do. By sharing with them on a regular basis, this will bring change into your life.

The main thing is get let go of what your doing now, and try something different.

Paul,

I am glad you wrote this posting. I made a resolution a few weeks ago to overhaul the way I did things. What a difference. I think a lot of people are scared to step out of their comfort zones. They are afraid to be the first one to make contact. Here are some things I do now that has made an unbelievable difference in my business in just a matter of weeks:

I write down 5 things I need to do related to my business before I start the day.

I spend some time every day on marketing, even if that's just putting up flyers or visiting a real estate office.

If there is calls I need to make that I really don't want to make, I do that first thing. Procrastination will lose you more business than anything else.

I have a certain period of time every day that I only work on business related things. It's about 5 hours and I can only work on things related to my business, no personal calls, no personal banking, etc. Even if you think there's nothing you need to do for your business, if you make this a rule, you will find things that you can do.

Thanks for a great posting!

Amanda
