It looks as though the deer may be trying to figure out how to get out of the problem it is in and not to happy about it.
Awwww...we have these fellas/gals in our backyard too...when the get too close to the patio doors the cats go nuts.....it's the biggest "dog" they have ever seen and we sooo don't want them to "charge the doors" as has happened to neighbors and invite themselves for a drink at the rec room bar !
We are loaded with them that's for sure. When I run across one at night, you know the ones that stop and stare at the headlights and won't move, I turn off the lights for a second, they break the stare and move on. Now that is only on the back roads here, and only when I know no one else is coming.
Hi Diego:
Awwww....hello little dear!
She's a little too close to the road....
Eilean, you're right they travel in a group. luckily I was going slow
Dan, Thank you. you have a great one also
Gita, I know what you mean, they are scary enough when in a car. on a motorcycle they are terrifying
I really appreciated your picture this morning. I am new and looking forward to more of them down the road.
Don, I think he was wondering what he did in order to get me to turn around and take his pic.
Sally & David, dont blame you. these guys could do some damage; to your bar supplies I mean ;)
Hi Andrea; so you're playing "chicken" with the deer? [just kidding] yes specially up by your area they are all over.
Hi Toula, yes she is a total revel
Thanks Bill, never been to Michigan if its anything like CT must be great
Harry, thank you; I like it, will continue
My pleasure Eric, thank you for saying hello
Thank you Stephanie, and welcome to AR. I am sure you will give Harry a run for his point from now on.
Thank you Tim, welcome to AR; this is a cool site with great people I'm sure you'll have a great time.
Sometimes I see one frantically running outside the cyclone fence that surrounds JSC/NASA property is Houston area. I hope they can get back in! Thanks for a nice photo.
I like deer and have them hanging around the back of the house in the past. Not seeing them as much now.
Hi Diego, The picture of the deer is beautiful, however I hate to see this one so close to the highway. We don't see much of that type of thing in our neck of the woods.
Diego, thanks for sharing your photo I can image how terrifying it must have been in a bike with the deer crossing. I had one run into the right hand fender and kept running . Fortunately no serious damage but I was very shook up.
