This is just a refresher basically - or call it a reminder.  There are several items that help your blog rank well, which will not only help you build your name and brand, but drive people to your real estate services website, and help increase your ranking on your real estate website - since your blog can act as a quality inbound link to your website.

But most importantly to get recognized and ranked by the major search engines is the subject of your content.  Everything I have ready, and everyone I talk to says the same - throwing in an occasional personal story, joke, recipe etc. is all fine and good, but the constant use of the key words you are tyring to get noticed - which means writing about subject relevant to your business is the most important aspect to get your blog to rank well.

Hope this little reminder helps. It is of course not the only factor - but sure is the most important.

Good quality content that is relevant to your readers. Key words are important as long as they don't distract the free flow of thought. Consistently writing good articles that are consumer-oriented and engage your readers will help to encourage repeat visits...

Relative content with relative keywords that is easy to read and actually says something is what google is looking for right now. It is so easy and yet so many miss the mark.

I agree that an abundance of recipes posted on a real estate blog dilutes its content. If you're into something like cooking, then create a separate blog and link it to your real estate blog.

I think that is some of the best advise I have gotten to date on how to use this mode of communication. You must really get this! I am just planning to practice, practice, practice and play with it all until I am comfortable with it.Thank you for the good advise though.
