Dealing with a loved one that has cancer...

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage~ Ginger Harper Real Estate Team 93383

This is a hard thing.  The process that you go thru and the appointments and re appointments and doctors calls and test and procedures and etc..

My husband and I are dealing with this right now.  It is hard to grab hold of your life when you have this much going on.

Just will say that we are going to make it thru this.

Hope all is well in your lives..

Best of luck and strength to both of you.  We recently lost a family member (18) months ago. Many of us were "Rocked" to the core and are still recovering.  I know what you're going through.  may god be with you.

I hope the best for you and your family

Ginger,

A cancer-patient nurse wrote to The New York Times and she said ..." we must mark well that sensitivity, common courtesy, laughter and human caring are also ‘weapons' in the war against cancer." It is hard to find humor in times of distress but it helps, it keeps you from burning out.

Questions arise when one is stuck with a deadly disease and coping with it all is daunting to say the least but with the support of family members and friends it keeps you going.  It's like therapy to have your love one around.

You didn't say who has cancer but if you are supporting the one with cancer, I hope you will be able to comfort and care for your love one during this distressing time.

Ginger - I have been through this, nothing I can say will help.  But know that I will say a prayer for your husband.  And for you.  Take care of yourself, too.
