This years Williamson County Fair is August 7 through the 15 at the Ag Expo Park in Franklin, TN. The Fair offers a wide array of family entertain
ment, activities and competitions. So get ready.... It is almost time to enjoy the smell of cotton candy, watch children waving to their parents from the Ferris Wheel, take bites of steaming hot funnel cakes and listen to laughter and carnival music.
A special attraction this year is the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show, featuring log-rolling people and log-rolling dogs, chopping, sawing, axe throwing, dragster chainsaw and tree climbing.
Fair patrons enjoy musical entertainment on 3 stages, with acts from all genres of music. This year's top entertainers include the Alabama Blues Brothers, who will play Aug. 7 at 7:30 p.m., and Shawn Klush, Graceland's Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist, who will play Aug. 8 at 7 p.m.
Competitions range from Culinary Arts to Fine Arts to Livestock and Pageants for all ages.
Activities at the Fair include a Midway, Children's Barnyard, Senior Day, Little One's Farming exhibit, and many other exciting events. The Children's Barn has goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, poultry, horses and cows. The petting zoo has miniature livestock, camels, baboons, a tarantula and other exotics.
A variety of free daily shows with acts such as a hypnotist, racing pigs, chainsaw artist and many more keep everyone coming back for more!
Tractor Supply has been with the county fair for four years after moving it's Store Support Center to Williamson County.
