New Orleans Gets Hit by Volunteers

This August will mark the 4th Anniversary of Hurricane Katarina. The City of New Orleans and this region is still rebuilding. Many issues still are in debate and causing delays. A bright spot is occurring as I write this post. Teenagers a report 37,000 are here to help. These teenagers are doing everything to help our City. In case you don't realize it is in the 90's as far as the temperature and we still see them everywhere.

That is awesome!  Those teenagers need to be rewarded for their good deeds.  Hopefully they will find the satisfaction of helping others the rest of their lives enough reward!

Thank you for the post. So often, teens are associated with the activities of a few bad apples. So many teens are good hearted, smart, caring and hard working. Thanks for pointing out the positive.

Frank it is hard to beleive the "4th" anniversary!  Wow...time goes by but the devastation was so great.  I am glad things are looking up!
