When I first opened up Active Rain this morning, lo and behold I noted the change. Not the site itself changed by any means, but the picture of one of our featured and longtime contributor Lenn Harley.
That got me thinking!
As professionals, especially in Real Estate, we want to be out in front of our consumers. When you meet a potential buyer or seller for the first time, did you get a funny look? – do they look at you from head to toe? –do they stare at you? Personally, I don’t remember names very much, but I seem to remember faces. So when I see or meet someone for the first time that I have seen the same glamour shot picture of in real estate magazines and advertisements weeks in and weeks out, I expect that the picture is true.
There are lots of agents that have those famous glamour shots that was done years and years ago and I’m really surprised when I meet the real you – for better or for worse.
