Apple pie is my favorite pie to bake. I haven't tried it with oatmeal in the topping. I'll give that a try on my next one. Thanks for the idea.

Mary, My grandmother used to make homemade pies. I don't have her recipes unfortunately but this one sounds just wonderful and I'm going to try it--Thank You!

My husband loves apple crisp, I do a similar one using a different curst.
