For those of you that enjoy farmer's markets, you've only got another 2 months worth of Saturday's to enjoy Suffern's. It takes place every week
Saturday's from June through November
9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Rain or Shine
at
Orange Ave at Lafayette Ave
in the commuter parking lot.
You will find locally grown and produced vegetables and fruits in addition to baked goods, maple syrup, jams, jellies, honey, eggs, prepared foods, flowers and plants and crafts from local artists. For those of you with a green thumb (and those of you who wish you knew how to acquire one) there's usually someone on hand from Cornell Cooperative Extension to answer gardening questions; for the chefs among us, there are cooking demos.
It's a great venue for fostering a sense of community so come and join us in supporting local farmers and artisans and get a taste of historic downtown Suffern at the same time. You'll love our village of Suffern!
