A Ball Boucing; The Tide; a Boomerang; California Real Estate -- what do these 4 things have in common?
They always come back! So what are California investors and buyers waiting for? The tide only goes out so far, a ball only bounces until it hits the ground, a boomerang always turns goes back from where it was thrown and California Real Estate has always bounce back.
Why - well balls and boomerangs have to do with physics, and the tide has to do with gravity and the sun, but in California it is all supply and demand. Add that to the fact that our weather is awesome, especially in the Northern California Bay Area. We don't have snow unless we want to drive to it, we don't have tornados or hurricanes, we don't even really have draughts. The temperature is 60 - 90 10 months out of the year. Ok, I'll admit, we do have earthquakes and I lived through the last 'big' one with NO DAMAGE done to my home, or anyone else I know.
So, where are the buyers? Are they waiting until it is a BUYERS MARKET? Are they waiting until they can't negotiate because they have to pay more than asking price? Are they waiting until the ball hits the bottom? When will that be? Once the ball hits bottom what happens? It comes back and it comes back FAST!
There are great loans still out there. I'm even certified in a special grant program that enables buyers of any income level to have $250 - $1000 of their mortgage paid for 2 years with out repaying the amount. It is a GRANT! This is an awesome program, the negative, buyers have to use a certified agent.
