Silent Sunday- Lake Wheeler Park, Raleigh North Carolina

By
Real Estate Agent with Raleigh Cary Realty

It's a bright, cloudy, cool, lovely fall day, the first weekend day since the leaves started to change that it's not raining. A perfect day for a walk in the park

While the crowds are enjoying the last day of the State Fair, barely 5 miles away, my husband, granddog, and I were enjoying the peacefulness of Lake Wheeler. Not a sound was heard except the crunching of leaves under our feet as we walked. Even the swimming ducks were silent.

Gorgeous photo Linda, I love the sound of the leaves crunching underfoot - it sounds like a spectacular autumn day!

So cool to see some different colored leaves on the trees across the lake. (Spoken like a true Floridian. I know. lol) All we see is green, green, green. And then the leaves just fall off  =/   This picture is great!

Lisa- I lived in Southern California for 16 years- so I've experienced the "no change of leaves' also, that's why I love this area so much. Thanks for commenting, have a great week.
