St. Augustine, Ted Tyndall: Halloween at Palencia, The World Golf Village, Nocatee and the Players Club

"Have a Safe Halloween"

I think most people have heard all the basics of protecting your children if they go "Trick or Treating".

However, myself "Ted Tyndall", my partner "Carol vonRabenstein" and the entire staff of Davidson Realty Inc. would like for everyone to have happy memories of the 2009 Halloween.

1. Make sure small children are accompanied by an adult.
2. If your child is old enough to go alone help plan their route.
3. Makes sure they know to stay in well lighted areas and not cut through back paths.
4. Only go to familiar homes. Stay in your own neighborhood.
5. Instruct your children not to eat any treats until coming home and examining them.
6. Make sure your children know not to get into cars or go into any homes.
7. Let them know to go in groups. There is safety in numbers.
8. Make sure the clothes you select for young children are safety rated for fire protection.
9. Have your children carry some kind of light with them.
10. These are just some of the items to look out for. Add your own to this list and be safe.
