Internet ExplorerYour Internet Browser can do other things than just looking at websites.

I learned a new trick --

Save your photo or pdf file to the desktop and simply drag the photo or pdf file

on top of the IE Icon on your desktop -- the browser will immediately open and

you will be viewing the picture or the pdf file in your browser and it is fast!

You can also open your browser and click on File, Click on Open and Browser your computer for the file to look at.  You don't have to be connected to the Internet to use it as a viewing program --

Does this process work with Mozilla Firefox browser? Firefox is noticeably faster than IE to load.

OR, you could right click on it, and tell it to open with IE, or any other program you wanted to use. For me, that's quicker than dragging it.

This is a good way of doing it, especially when right-clicking won't work (as it has at times for me).  Thank you for the shared information!
