Thats funny. I saw a bee on one of my pumpkins today and thought the same thing. Pretty late in the season for bees.

John & Kathryn, we were INUNDATED with bees at my office tailgating party today. I thought they would be gone by now!!!

Hello Jim, it's not easy for me to get a close-up of a honeybee. As a teen I kept a couple of hives, and with each additional sting, I'd get more allergic and thus, I try not to get anymore honeybee stings! Have a great one! John

Hi John, You should have done a Name That Photo post for the group with the first photo. I would never have guessed it was a pumpkin. Thought it looked like Kraft Dinner.
Great photos, John...you either must have had a camera handy or the bee really liked camping out on the pumpkin and waited till you got back! :)
