I have been working with a new customer, we will call her Liz, whom I was able to convert from a renter to a very well qualified buyer in a half way decent price range. She sold her home in New York and has held on to her cash, but wanted to rent before entering the market here in Greater Boca Raton, FL, so she could learn the area before buying.
We looked at several renters for her and 2 dogs and 3 cats. It is very hard to find a rental for a multiple pet owner.
While driving up the main highway here in Boca I told her "now that you are really getting to know the area, your friends have their ideas of where you should live, and you are more comfortable with the lay of the land, I think we should look at houses for sale now."
She totally agreed and we looked at dumps to pristine homes. Finally a Homepath financing home came up, it was on their Homepath renovation list and was renovated quite well in a very well established, beautiful neighborhood in Lake Worth Florida.
We got on this listing immediately, got the offer in and was actually able to speak with a real person. We are in the final stages of fully executed contract. I hope to get her closed by Christmas.
