Are you getting ready to celebrate the 4th of July? I know that I am looking forward to a break in the week. As we get ready to celebrate you might want to make sure there are still going to be fireworks in your area. Flagler County has initiated a burn ban and some local cities are following suit as we are still considered to be in a drought.
The News Journal has offered a list of local activities you may want to take a look at. I verified that the City of Ormond Beach is going to have Independence Day activities starting at 6:00 pm with music and festivities at all four corners of the Granada Bridge: City Hall Plaza, Bailey Riverbridge Gardens, Fortunato Park and The Casements. The fireworks display will start at 9:30 at the Granada Bridge.
July 4th has been one of my favorite holidays to celebrate. I love getting together with family and friends, cooking out and ending the evening enjoying the fireworks. You have to be careful however. Be safe and have a Happy 4th of July!
