Build a Real Estate Business With 4 Legs

When I was a sales trainer with Century 21 in Troy Michigan what seems to be ions ago, I was a pretty high producing agent who shared with others the "secret" of my success.  Being self taught in this business I found out that there are not secrets. There's only implementation of what everyone knows what they have to do to succeed.

After all, we all have the same tools available. It really comes down to using the tools.  What's the difference between a 20 million dollar producer and a 2 million dollar producer?  Simply it's using the tools.  True the 20 million producers most likely get a majority of their business from referrals and word of mouth.  However, they did not enter the business and all of the sudden have this business.  The had to build the business to get where they're at.

This is where marketing with 4 legs come into play.  Whether you decide to prospect for FSBO's, expireds, renters, investors, do mailings, internet, post cards, floor time, knocking on doors, cold calling, networking, reis or any other of the countless ways to get business, the bottom line is you cant be the master of all.  You just need to master 4 ways.  The legs of the table.

By mastering just  4 legs, success will come as long as you devote yourself to what you choose.  This doesn't mean you don't adjust or change.  Change is necessary. Finding a replacement for what may not be working for you is essential.

It is too easy to get down, curl yourself into a ball and sleep the day away in the market we are in.  What that guarantees is failure.  This is the time that we must all pull ourselves up by our bootstraps, and become even better than ever.

It's easy to make a boatload of money in a great market.  Show yourself that you can succeed in any market.

Find only 4 ways to market for business.  Get good at it, and do it over and over again.  You will reap the benefits and just wait till the market comes back.  Talk about being positioned!!

Oh so true but very few will follow these simple guidelines, we are all looking for the quick fix or easy business.
