Tonight is our Annual Holiday and Client Appreciation Open House - We've been working towards this for weeks. The house is decorated and cleaned; turkey is baked; more food prep today and setting up tables; but we almost there. Starts at 6:30 pm and goes until we shove the last ones out the door - probably 3:00 am or so... I'm really looking forward to it.
The temperature right now is 6 degrees. We would have to get an arctic cold front for the night of our party. We're ready, though. We wrapped the entire back porch with plastic (for the smokers) and have heaters set up. The second floor screened porch is also wrapped and heated. We have a tent set up in the back yard and a fire pit.
