About Washougal, WA:
Washougal, WA is a quaint little town. The name Washougal means "Rushing Water" in reference to the beautiful Washougal River. It's a "sister" city to Camas, WA which used to be supported in a big way by Crown Zellerback paper mill, which is now known as Georgia Pacific paper mill.  Pendelton Woolen Mills is also famous and is located here. Downtown Washougal has grown, lots of new little restaurants and shops.

How to Find Us:

If you travel Highway 14 we are located off of 32nd Ave and up Stiles Rd to almost the top of the hill. This nice neighborhood is also located approximately 15 minutes east to the big shopping stores such as Home Depot, Walmart, etc. Clark College and Washington State University is about 20 minutes from here.  Portland International airport is right across the I-205 Bridge by the large shopping center that includes HomeGoods, Ikea, Target, etc. You can wait for your plane by shopping if you plan your day right!

What To Do:

There are plenty activities for you to enjoy: hiking, kayaking, camping, the famous Washougal motorcross track, dog parks, the Columbia River, fishing on the Washougal River ....come and get to know us! (We're right next to the "posh" up-scale Camas town.) If you like snow sports-Mt. Hood is an hour and a half east from here and if you like playing the tourist and partying at the WA beach-you can travel to the west about hour and a half.
