Hello everyone,
I have noticed when looking at profiles that some people have a box that you can click on that says 'Add as an Associate'. Could anyone tell me how I set that box up on my profile? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm still new at this. I am finding Active Rain terrific by the way!

Check a few more profiles - that box should be on top of every Member's picture.
Unless something has changed recently, it is automatically set up that way.
BTW- I just checked your profile, the bow WAS there and I added you - you should get notification of that soon.

There is also a "subscribe to blog" on a different profile page of each person. This is used to be able to see when your favorite bloggers have written a blog.
As for the associate box, we can't see it on our own profile, presumably so we don't associate with ourselves:(
As Marc says, when someone adds you as an associate you will receive an email notifying you. You can then decide if you want to add them as an associate or not.
