For about 3 years now we have contracted with a local business to provide fresh baked brownies to all of our closings - it has become some what of a trade mark and we will be continuing to do so in the future! I have a simple theory since I am a chocoholic myself, moving can be stressful enough, let alone signing the amount of paper work required to close on a home that is being financed the cure for that is simple- chocolate!
Our brownies are typically baked the day of closing so many times they are warm out of the oven, usually as the signing is going on you can smell the chocolate as it permeates the closing room, many times my clients have opened the box and shared with the entire closing table, the realtor, the closer all getting a chocolate fix as we close!
I once had a client closing as a power of attorney who proudly announced that he was going to down 2 brownies one for himself and one as power of attorney!
All kidding aside the Brownies have become a trade mark and thanks to our business partner, WannaGetta Pizza in Springfield MO - our customers leave the closing table with a smile, a key and a warm brownie.
