Wondering what your Chinese Zodiac is?

2010 Chinese Zodiac for Year of Tiger by Birth Year

"When tigers transform themselves into men, their tails do not change." -- Chinese proverb

I'm thinking maybe 2009 should have been the Year of the Tiger :-)

 Tiger Tips:

  • Tigers do not purr.
  • A tail gives a tiger extra balance when running and is also used to communicate with other tigers.
  • Adult tigers have thirty teeth.
  • All tigers have a similar marking on their forehead, which resembles the Chinese symbol "Wang",   meaning "King".
  • Tigers can swim and like to cool down by sitting neck deep in water holes.
  • Tiger stripes are individually as unique as a human finger print.
  • Wild tigers do not live in Africa, they are found across Asia and are thought to have originated from Southern China.
  • The heaviest recorded tiger was a Siberian weighing an amazing 1,025 pounds.
  • On average, a tiger can consume up to 60 pounds of meat at a time.
  • Unlike the domestic cat, the pupils of a tiger are round.

Liz, I think mentioning the golfer was inevitable, besides after the year he's had maybe he'll turn things around for the better.

If you have not been here, Oaxaca region of Mexico, you would be surprised at the number of fellow Canadians here. They are the largest group other than those from Mexico.
