Why I Love Barre Homes

I just saw a flat-out beautiful home in Barre.  Custom cherry cabinets, granite countertop and backsplashes, maple flooring, BIG views all the way to Camels Hump.

It blows me away that a house like this can be had for less than a half million.  There's nothing wrong with the house--everything's just in great condition.

And I'm contemplating going on a personal crusade to stoke the fires of Barre real estate.  If I were looking for sheer value, I'd definitely want to think about Barre.  This isn't where I go off and say that it's a perfect town, and only a fool would look anywhere else.

All I'm saying is that there are some gorgeous homes for sale in Barre, and they're within the price range of a lot of buyers.

Stay tuned for future installments of things going on in, around, and to Barre.  The Chamber of Commerce is going to want to hire me before I'm through...

Sounds like a great area Ray and a fantastic house.  Barre sounds like one of those forgotten gems of the world.

Dana--Barre gets a bad rap.  It's all of 8000 people, and the very center of town (like most towns) has seen its ups and downs.  But you don't have to go more than 2 or 3 minutes away to get into some gorgeous neighborhoods.

Barbara--They can feel free to use all my material!

There certainly are some significant real estate values in Barre for the home buyer and investors. However, it does need to revitalize its economic base. Being so heavily dependent on the granite business for so long it became complacent. Fortunately, recent news of a new employer creating 100 new jobs is a beginning. Good Luck with your efforts. You should be well rewarded.
