New Market Activety?

Hi,

I've noticed more activity in the market lately and was wondering if its nation wide or just in the South Central Florida area? I can only hope this is nation wide, god knows we all need this and have been waiting for more action. I'd like to know if anyone else is experiencing any more activity and where its happening. Any input is appreciated. Are they window shopping or actually putting in offers?

We are starting to get Offers on the Lower End stuff in the Ft Myers / Cape Coral area, as maybe the bottom is here or almost for the low end Homes.. More expensive homes are still very slow.

If one looks at my calendar I have had more initial appointments with customers in the last two weeks, than I had the previous. I hear more buzz around the office too.

I get the impression they are still trying to get a good deal (meaning less than list price). I have had two clients in the last month put in offers at less that list. In both case the owners are starting to hear the same buzz that things are starting to happen and are holding the line at list.

One owner will not budge and the other is still in negotiation.
