There is definitely power in the people here in the Rain.
The Power of Active Rain .... Now this is POWER ! Got to love the Power of Active Rain. Great Job !
This is actually becoming a lot of fun for me. I believe I'll get the blogging thing and the "Google Juice" thing in time. I've benefited already by being quoted in most major newspapers over the holidays and I've received a great referral.
Where do you want to go next!
The title of your blog made me chuckle. "Soylent Green . . . is people!" Sorry ;-)
I like the growth opportunity concept of your post. That's neat you have obtained writing opportunities as a result!
Steve:
This is well-stated. I particularly like the Leonard Nimoy reference at a Star Trek convention. It's difficult to try to explain it to someone who has not experienced it. But, it is truly a community that is supportive and enriching.
Nice post Steve. Now that you're all charged up go out and sell something.
Great Post! The Power of Active Rain has helped me in growing my business.
Congratulations. I can spot a winner a mile away.
Steve, I have learned so much from all the people here on Active Rain. My website guy suggested today I move my daily blog over to our own website. I hate the idea of leaving here or writing two different blogs. I have the weekend to figure it out, but what I do know is that I have truly gained from the time I have been spending here and hope I have been giving as much as I am receiving, although I doubt that. Have a great weekend.
Steve - Yes ...People. People LIKE YOU ...are my pot of gold at the end of the Active Rainbow.
Steve You are so right, it is the people that makes AR so powerful, I just can't help having fun here.
Steve, congratulations on a winning position in the Contest! Your post is very well written.

Hi everyone... thanks so much for all the wonderful comments. Long after the commission dollars have been spent, I will still have the friendships and relationships that I have formed as a result of my blogging on AR. No question in my mind which is more important!
Hi Carol... Back at ya!
Hi Larry... Please stay with us here on AR! It would not be the same without you. Hopefully you will be with us at RainCamp on the 16th!
Hi J. Philip... "llama-centric material" I LOVE IT!
Hi Greg Nino... Reach for the Stars man! Reach for the Stars! Seriously, I was surprised this one got featured, but I'm grateful that it did.
Hi David Monsour... 3rd place... you must have psychic abilities!
Hi Debe... I can't wait to meet you at RainCamp!!! :)
Congrats, that is why you are an Ambassador in the rain!
What a great tribute to AR. And I most agree with your last point: I love the open forum for sharing what works & what does not, as well as the support of people willing to celebrate with you. Thanks!
Steve, Active Rain really is a great place to hang out. It's even keeping me sane during my attack of snow induced cabin fever!
Steve
